In all the India-Pak fever on 16th June 2019 the king Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan were caught in all the eyes with ‘Mufasa” and “samba” jerseys,
and so here is the story about these names.
A recent trend seems to have kicked off in Bollywood where Bollywood actors are doing voiceovers for Hollywood films in Hindi. A recent example of this is Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Sanya Malhotra, who had dubbed for the Hindi version of Men In Black: International. Now, following this, Shah Rukh Khan and son Aryan Khan have lent their voices to the father-son duo, Mufasa-Simba from The Lion King. Yes, Aryan Khan has collaborated with daddy King Khan for The Lion Kong’s dubbed version.
As per Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh confirmed collaborating with Aryan for the dubbing of this film and mentioned that he is extremely excited for the same. Shah Rukh mentioned that working with his son on a film has been an emotional experience for him and that too lending voice to a father-son duo was extremely special. The Zero actor also revealed that his little son, Abram is a huge fan of The Lion King and when he hears Aryan and him lending voices to the leads of the film, he surely will be happy.
Shah Rukh said, “Voicing the father-son duo of Mufasa and Simba has been such a wonderful personal and professional moment for Aryan and me. It will be really special to watch this movie with our little one, Abram (Shah Rukh’s youngest son), as he is a big fan of the film. And watching his big brother and father voice the characters in this live-action version is surely going to make it a memorable experience.” Yesterday, Shah Rukh had shared a photo in which Aryan and he were wearing the Indian jersey with names Mufasa and Simba.
Meanwhile, The Lion King is a live action film by Jon Favreau and is being produced by Karen Gilchrist, Jeffrey Silver, and Jon Favreau. The film’s trailer has been liked by the fans of 1994 film and many are looking forward to the release. Hollywood stars Seth Rogen, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Oliver, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, John Kani, and James Earl Jones have lent their voices to the characters of the film. For the Hindi version, Shah Rukh will be lending his voice to Mufasa and Aryan will be doing the same for Simba.
